Mitsubishi Electric take the ban on R22 extremely seriously and understand that a R22 changeover can seem like a daunting task
Our current air conditioning product ranges have ‘Replace Technology’ as standard which allows the installer to re-use the existing pipework when completing the switchover from R22 to R410A systems. This means the transition can be completed quickly, at a lower cost and with minimal disruption to the premises.
With years of experience of handling R22 replace programmes, the Corporate Solutions team are happy to offer advice and assistance when planning your replacement programme.
There are also a range of courses and literature available to help you plan the simplest and most cost-effective way to replace old R22 equipment.
Some contractors may suggest the use of other unspecified drop in refrigerants instead of R22 as a quick fix. However Mitsubishi Electric never advocate the use of alternative drop in refrigerants and cannot be held responsible for mechanical failure, system malfunction or unit breakdown if they are used.
